One of the great sluggers of the "dead ball" era is spotlighted, with this J. Frank Baker signed Government Postcard cut, dated 4/3/56 on the address side. Baker led the AL in home runs in four consecutive seasons from 1911-1914, earning him the nickname "Home Run" Baker. His induction into the Hall of Fame in 1955, and his distant demise in 1963, place him squarely on the most wanted Hall of Famer autograph list. Baker's neatly applied autograph is a pleasing ("9") strength example, and the crisp GPC has been trimmed to dimensions of 5-1/2 x 2-3/4", so that the signature is evenly centered for display. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
