Warren Spahn, Johnny Sain, and prayers for rain earned the Boston Braves the National League pennant in 1948, along with a trip to the World Series, to meet the Cleveland Indians. "Los Bravos" relocated to Milwaukee in 1953, and their current home in Atlanta in 1966, and the 1948 NL pennant, was the 10th and final one of the franchise's lengthy Boston tenure.

Served up is a pair of 1948 Boston Braves World Series sterling silver cufflinks, with box. Reported as being presented only to team executives and select VIPs, this handsome two-piece jewelry set was produced in very small number. With the exception of not having the date on the head of the tomahawks positioned across the bottom edges, these cufflinks are otherwise identical in design to the 1948 Braves World Series press pin. Weighing in at 6 grams each, both pieces are marked "LGB Sterling", for the maker "Lloyd Garfield Balfour", and their 92.5% silver composition. The enameled silver faces are stunning, and the backs retain their original fasteners, which function smoothly, adding up to a NM-MT rating.

Opening Bid $200.
