Produced while William Harridge held office as President of the American League, this ball is housed in an unopened box, that is consistent in style to those issued by Reach during the period 1946-1951. Adhered snugly around the middle of this cardboard container, the factory seal bears bold lettering, and moderate creasing/wrinkling. The box itself retains a solid shape, with clean surfaces and bold text all around. Two light surface impression lines are noted on the bottom panel, and one side panel shows moderate wear, otherwise this vintage box is very handsome, with a generally fresh appearance.
