Stan Musial signed (“9.5”) “Stan the Man!” print by Eric Schuman is a proof sheet with Musial looming large over the St. Louis skyline. This 16” x 20” print is framed to overall dimensions of 21-1/2” x 26”, with color coordinated Cardinals red matting. Musial has included the personalized note “To Barry, Enjoyed the visit to your great collection – Stan Musial”, along with the date inscription “4/19/91”.
Harmon Killebrew signed (“8”) limited-edition print is numbered “537/573”, from an edition size corresponding to Killebrew’s career home run total. This 22” x 29” print is framed to exact dimensions, and depicts “the Killer” in his early days with the Washington Senators. Killebrew’s signature resides at center of the bottom border, accompanied by the date inscription “6/13/04”. To the left of the signature, the prolific slugger has included the personalized note “To Barry Halper, #537 put me ahead of Mantle, I wanted you to have it. Sincerely”. Celebrated sports artist Walter Spitzmiller has signed at bottom-right.
Brooks Robinson signed (“7.5”) Crown Central Petroleum Corporation poster is copyright dated 1983. Framed to overall dimensions of 27-1/2” x 20-1/2”, this moderately rippled poster is visible in an area of 25-1/4” x 18-1/2”. Created by artist Ron Adair, this poster celebrates the remarkable third baseman’s Hall of Fame induction. Positioned at lower-right, Robinson’s signature is preceded by the note “Barry, Find a place for this, Your Pal”.
Lou Brock signed (“9”) Budweiser poster, commemorates the mercurial outfielder’s career and single season stolen base records, and his milestone 3,000th hit, in a printed passage at right. This moderately rippled poster is tightly framed to overall dimensions of 17” x 25”. Brock has addressed his signature with the salutation “To Barry, The #1 Collector”.
