Lot # 1773: Scarce Circa 1948 PM10 Y.A. Tittle Rookie Era Pin - Clean!

Gorgeous example of Y.A. Tittle's rookie era PM10 stadium pin! The sixth overall pick of the 1948 NFL draft, Tittle would spend his first three season as a professional, split between the old All-American Football Conference and, in 1950, the National Football League. While this iteration of the Colts would fold after the 1950 campaign, Tittle's career was just warming up. The lack of the pin-back and charms does not deter from the aesthetics, as this example is arguably the finest example we have seen. The clean front pictures a youthful Tittle, while the reverse showing only minor signs of age. A tremendous relic from the early days of the Bald Eagle!
