Description

Baseball historians turn back time more than a hundred years ago, with the consideration of this 1920 World Series Game 4 ticket stub. With the stench of the 1919 Black Sox scandal still hanging over baseball, the best-of-nine 1920 World Series featured the Cleveland Indians versus the Brooklyn Robins. Hall of Fame hurler Stanley Coveleski took the mound for Cleveland in Game 4, played on October 9th at League Park, picking up his second of three wins in the Series, by a score of 5-1. The Indians went on to close out the Series with consecutive wins in the next three games, to claim their first World Series championship. PSA has assigned this ancient ticket stub a grade of POOR 1.
