Description

The home run leader of the Dead-Ball era, “Home Run” Baker held the record for most home runs (12) in a season and was playing for the Yankees when the team bought a pitcher from Boston who switched to right field and proceeded to shatter all home run records, first with 29 in 1919, then with 54 in 1920. His name was Babe Ruth.
