Description

Revisit the Baltimore Orioles first championship, with the examination of the 1966 World Series Game 3 full ticket. It was a fantastic Series win for the O's, as they swept the Los Angeles Dodgers. Both teams boasted deep pitching staffs, but the Orioles also fielded some mighty sluggers. Baltimore's pitching staff held the Dodgers to just two runs in Game 1, and the next three games were all shoutouts. The score for Game 3 was 1-0, with the total offensive output provided by Paul Blair, who belted a solo home run in the 5th inning, giving Wally Bunker all the support he needed to record the win. PSA has encapsulated this vintage full ticket with a respectable grade of VG 3.
