Description

Nail down a tough autograph, when you hammer home the winning bid for this Curt Flood single-signed baseball. An ONL/Giamatti model, this attractive, lightly toned ball is boldly signed by Flood on the panel with the Rawlings logo. Flood famously took on Major League Baseball over its reserve clause. Though it pretty much cost him the remainder of his playing career after the 1969 season, Flood paved the way for free agency, which came about a few years after he lost his historic court battle in 1972.
