Marvel at the age when New York City was the center of the Baseball Universe, with the examination of this "Willie, Mickey & The Duke" triple-signed baseball. Three prominent teams called New York home during the 1950s, and each teamed boasted a Hall of Fame centerfielder, with Willie Mays for the NY Giants, Mickey Mantle for the NY Yankees, and "Duke" Snider for the Brooklyn Dodgers. There was only one postseason round at the time, the World Series, and New York hosted championship games every year of the 1950s, except the 1959 Series, which the Dodgers won shortly after their relocation to Los Angeles. A fine reminder of this New York-centric period, this attractive ONL/White baseball is signed on the sweet spot by Mays, the north panel by Mantle, and the south panel by Snider. The ball shows sporadic toning, that does not affect the easily identified signatures.
