Lot # 1105: Carl Furillo Single-Signed ONL/Giamatti Baseball with Full JSA LOA

One of the "Boys of Summer" is remembered, with this Carl Furillo single-signed ONL/Giamatti baseball. During his days with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Furillo was teamed with Hall of Famers Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Jackie Robinson "Pee Wee" Reese, and Gil Hodges. Even these luminaries could not overshadow Furillo's solid, consistent contributions to many great Dodgers seasons. His passing from illness in January 1989, makes Furillo a somewhat tough signature acquisition, Located on the sweet spot of the offered ball, this late life signature positions as a nice find for dedicated collectors.
