Description

Wool’s tried and true durability is proven, with the presentation of this 1920s-1930s industrial league baseball uniform. This pinstriped wool jersey and pants set has held up remarkably well over the one hundred years since it was fashioned. Fronted with N.E.A.C. letter patches, the zippered jersey is stitched with an Empire NYC label inside the collar. Large navy-blue number 33 patches occupy a good bit of the jersey’s back, and a matching accent stripe traces the path of the zipper and the collar. The jersey zipper sticks hallway down, but this condition has minimal impact on the shirt's abundant display appeal. The right leg of the pants has a repair, and both garments show considerable staining/soiling and overall moderate wear. Accompanying is a considerably worn belt, stamped 38 on the interior.
