An impressive lineup of Hall of Famers is brought together with this multi-signed ONL/Feeney baseball. This ball is a 1970-1976 Spalding "Chub" Feeney model, and it's a good bet is was signed at the 1974 Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Two signers, Warren Spahn and George Kelly, were inducted in 1973. Another signer, Sam Rice, made his final public appearance at the 1974 induction ceremony, and then passed away in October of the same year. In the grand tradition of the Hall of Fame fraternity, living members reunite annually to welcome in new inductees, and there's no better scenario for the signing of this vintage baseball. All (11) signatures are instantly discernible against the surface of this moderately toned ball, and display appeal is ample.
Featured signers are:
Sweet spot: Stan Coveleski (d.1984), Edd Roush (d.1988), "Rube" Marquard (d.1980)
North panel: Bill Terry (d.1989), Warren Spahn (d.2003)
South panel: Sam Rice (d.1974), Lloyd Waner (d.1982), "Yogi" Berra (d.2015), Joe Cronin (d.1984)
East panel: Stan Musial (d.2013)
West panel: George L. Kelly (d.1984)
