Description

Played on July 14, 1970, at Cincinnati's Riverfront Stadium, the National League All-Stars defeated the American League squad by a 5-4 score in 12 innings. The brightest stars were definitely out that evening as two dozen future Hall of Famers suited up for the "Midsummer Classic." Three of those Cooperstown inductees and the 37th President of the United States Richard Nixon are pictured on the offered multi-signed display with four striking autographs. Matted to nearly 22x28 dimensions, this ready-to-display piece pictures the participants following the first pitch of the "Commander-in-Chief." Includes: 1.) Bench signed 16x20 photograph (MLB holo and Fanatics holo); 2.) Hodges signed 3x5 index card (full LOA from James Spence/JSA) with additional autographs from Steve Barber and Jim Holt (not visible on display front); 3.) Nixon signed 1990 In the Arena bookplate (full LOA from James Spence/JSA) and 4.) Weaver signed cachet (JSA sticker and cert card).
