Description

The Avengers founding fathers come into play, with this 1970s-1980s Marvel Comics Avengers hero collection (120+). When Marvel first assembled its answer to DC’s Justice League of America, the team was comprised with Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and Wasp. Captain America and Hawkeye followed soon after the first Avengers issue hit the newsstands, solidifying the reputation of Marvel's Mightiest Heroes. Gathered here are selections from the original Avengers title, and solo titles of prominent members. Rooted mostly in the Bronze Age, these well-preserved comics step forth in a pleasing condition range of 90% Fn-Vf to NM, 10% slightly lesser.
