Description

Popular novelties are served up with the offering of these (8) vintage to modern Hartland/other Little Leaguer-Bat Boy statues. This statue type was first introduced by Hartland in 1963, in "Champion Little Leaguer" labeled packaging. The Little League Baseball Association of America saw this as a trademark infringement, causing Hartland to drastically curtail sales. After that, the piece became known as the "Bat Boy", and in 1988 it was featured in the Hartland 25th Anniversary re-issue series. Here we have multiple varieties of this coveted statue type, with:

Gay-Gem Products Party Cake Decorations set in original blister package, with 6" Bat Boy, (2) 2" baseball figures, (3) checkered pennants, and a tube of candle holders. These items are MIP, and the package shows moderate wear, including a tear on the bubble at bottom-right, a notch of loss on the bottom edge of the backer, and a spot of surface paper loss due to sticker removal at top-right, below a marker blackout dot.
