A first ballot Hall of Famer is celebrated with the presentation of this 1966 Ted Williams Hall of Fame induction 10K gold commemorative ring. Practically a Jedi Master at the plate, Williams was a shoo-in for Hall of Fame enshrinement, with 93.4% of the vote. The astonishing thing was that more than 6% of the voters were able to rationalize leaving Williams off their ballots.
Weighed at a considerable 37.7 grams, this radiant ring is marked 10K on the interior of the band. A faux diamond over a black stone centers the face, surrounded by the straight to the point legend "Baseball Hall of Fame". The left shank is adorned with a "Ted Williams" banner, followed by a depiction of the Cooperstown museum and a shield that reads "The National Baseball Hall of Fame". Decorating the right shank, are crossed bats and a baseball, with "Outfielder" above, and "Elected 1966" below. This stately treasure is styled with expert craftsmanship and shows outstanding condition quality.
Ring is accompanied by an identification letter from a licensed jeweler/appraiser.
