Description

Old West nostalgia beckons with this 1882-CC GSA Morgan silver dollar. Located in Nevada, the famed Carson City Mint was founded to handle silver coming in from the Comstock Lode. Morgan silver dollars were only struck at the Carson City Mint in thirteen different years over the period 1878-1893, and the quantities produced were relatively small. Housed in a GSA holder, this gorgeous coin reports in brilliant uncirculated state. Accompanying are its original black box, and a 1972 United States Government COA stating this coin was produced from silver that came from the Comstock Lode, making this coin an historic treasure.
