A brutal torture scene unfolds on the front cover of this 1/44 Timely Comics Marvel Mystery Comics #51 issue. This frightful display is the work of artist Alex Schomburg. Temporarily flameless sidekick Toro is bound to the ground, about to branded with a smoldering swastika, wielded by a vile Nazi henchman. Fortunately for Toro, the Human Torch would have none of it, as he is seen delivering an uppercut to the chin of the hooded fiend. This nicely preserved wartime comic book is encapsulated by CGC, with a satisfying grade of 4.0, Cream to Off-White Pages.
