Most of the first eight decades of the 20th Century collegiate game is covered, with this 1900-1978 football guide collection (71). Many early Spalding editions figure in the mix, and though these early guides generally report in lesser state, their scarcity makes up for the considerable attrition. Condition improves to the solid mid-grade level as the timeline progresses.

1941-1949 A.S. Barnes The American Sports Library Official NCAA Football Guide (9) with: 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945 tape on spine, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 hardcover edition with split spine.
