Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. New York Giants outfielder Fred Snodgrass is remembered for all of the wrong reasons on this circa 1939 D351 Grennan Bakery Baseball's 10 Most Famous Plays #9 sample. Entitled "Snodgrass Drops Fly and Great Mathewson is Beaten," this cardboard documentary details Snodgrass's "$30,000 Muff" in Game 8 of the 1912 World Series. The recently uncovered 5 x 2-1/2" cardboard slab presents admirably and arrives from a long stored away Pittsburgh-based collection. Note: Huggins & Scott Auctions is proud to offer half of the known checklist of this enigmatic ACC designation. No examples have ever been graded by PSA or SGC and prior to the Summer 2025 find only a handful of examples have surfaced.
