Description

Head hard to the bidding hoop, for this 1960s NBA bobblehead and Lil' Dribbler selection (3). Truly an impressive trio, these vintage gold base figures all show vibrant colors, abundant gloss, full decals, and outstanding display appeal.

Featured are:

Portland Trailblazers bobblehead is nearly immaculate, with the only real sign of attrition being paint wear on the top of the base. Typically the area showing the most wear, the head opening of this fine fellow is in remarkable shape. Seen under the base is a sticker reading "N.B.A. Approved American Sports Sales, Ltd. Portland Oregon 97219 Phone (503) 246-8809 Made In Korea".

Seattle Supersonics bobblehead is as impressive as its Portland counterpart listed above, upon casual inspection. However, there is a hairline crack on the head, a 1/2" back of the left ear, and moderate chipping on the head opening. The sticker under the base is the same as the Portland bobble.

Philadelphia 76ers Lil' Dribbler is yet another outstanding piece, with fantastic colors and gloss, and full decals, including a 1969 NBA copyright logo on top of the base. The are a couple of minute blemishes on the front of the jersey, a couple of unobtrusive flecks of surface paint loss on the basketball, and moderate oxidation on the metal spring arm holding the basketball. The ball is not glued on, though it sits properly. A Sports Specialties sticker is affixed to the underside of the base, and this figure is housed is a vintage factory box, with a Harlem Globetrotter label on the lid.
