Class of 1936 Hall of Famer! Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. The featured 1910-1911 M116 Sporting Life Honus Wagner pastel background pose is a sterling rendition of photographer Carl Horner's famed studio sitting (which is very similar in appearance to the famous T206 Wagner and dates from the same era). This timeless portrait of the Pittsburgh Pirates legend displays relatively accurate centering, modest corner wear, sparkling clean edges and lustrous multi-colored player/background setting surface accents. The Type I advertising back is amplified by strong blue text and displays only a hint of toning. An incredibly underrated and historically significant mid-grade example of the beloved "Flying Dutchman"!
