Multiple major sport teams owner Jack Kent Cooke is spotlighted, with this signed personal check. As head man in charge of the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Redskins, Cooke won an NBA championship in 1972, and also took home Super Bowl trophies for the 1982, 1987 and 1991 NFL seasons. Cooke also owned the NHL Los Angeles Kings, the USA soccer team Los Angeles Wolves, and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the International Hockey League. Drawn on the Union Bank of Los Angeles, this 6/12/74 dated check bears a bold Cooke signature on the customary endorsement line at bottom-right on the front.
