The large black and white New York Yankees Type I photographs are desirable for a few important reasons. The size and clarity of each photo taken during 1960 season are rarely seen in this oversized format. From a three-game Yankees/Boston regular season series at Fenway Park from 9/23 to 9/25. Notable LIFE magazine photographer, Ted Polumbaum, captures the two Yankee sluggers both before and during games, with some in-action images. The official bold stamping on the reverse includes photographer name, date of game and the Yankees opponent. PSA/DNA Type I Photo Letter of Authenticity accompanies each lot.
