The “M&M Boys” were at the height of their heavy-hitting fame, when they were featured in the 1962 film “Safe at Home!”. In one of the greatest seasons of all-time, Maris famously broke Babe Ruth’s single-season home run record, with 61, while Mantle racked up an impressive total of 54 dingers, before being sidelined with a hip issue. This colossal Safe at Home one-sheet movie poster is professionally framed to overall dimensions of 34” x 48”. A 1962 Columbia Pictures copyright is printed at bottom, below the images of actors Patricia Barry and William Frawley. This nicely preserved film promoter reports handsomely, with vibrant colors and a fairly clean surface, with only minor wear along the original period compacting folds.
