Lot # 1147: Scarce Ralph "Ralphie" Salvon Single-Signed OAL/MacPhail Baseball - Baltimore Orioles Trainer 1966-1988

Trainer Ralphie Salvon was tasked with keeping Baltimore Orioles players healthy and ready to man the field during the franchise's greatest period of success. This key member of the Orioles support system is remembered, with this scarce Salvon single-signed baseball. Salvon's tenure as the O's medicine man dates from 1966-1988. During his day, the Orioles won all three of their World Series championships, and six of the franchise's seven AL pennants to date. Salvon has signed ("8") on a side panel of this OAL/MacPhail baseball, and he has included the inscription "Trainer".
