Be the first to the finish line, for this multi-signed 1965 Indianapolis 500 program. Issued for the 49th edition of the Indy 500 race on 5/31/65, this program (EX) hosts a total of (12) signatures. Highlights are 1965 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year Mario Andretti ("5") with "#12" inscription, and astronaut Gus Grissom ("8.5"), who died on 1/27/67 during a pre-launch test for the Apollo 1 space mission. The other (10) signatures range ("7" to "8.5") in potency with: front cover: Bill Cheesbourg with "#47", 1965 Indy 500 winner Jim Rathman, Al Miller with "#74", actor Ed Nelson, Arnold Knepper with "#18", Paul Russo (d.1976), "Gig" Stephens, and one undetermined; page 46: 1963 Indy 500 winner Parnelli Jones; and page 96: Len Sutton.
