Stamp enthusiasts, enjoy a special delivery with this 1869 Abraham Lincoln postage stamp. Designated Scott #122, this antique treasure has a high face value of 90 cents, quite a princely sum for its day. One of the earliest stamps to bear an image of the beloved 16th President, this issue is informally considered a commemorative from a time when people eagerly held onto to their memories of "Honest Abe," who was assassinated four years earlier. This crisp, attractive stamp appears to be unused, with strong colors, and a fairly clean surface, however centering is an issue, with no border on the right edge limiting the grade to (Average), though otherwise it presents much better.
