Score a chart topper with this 10/2/60 Buffalo Bills full ticket. In their second ever regular season home game, the Bills, with their 15,821 fans in attendance, suffered a 24-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, at the War Memorial Stadium (aka Civic Stadium). This AFL inaugural season unused ticket is fresh back from PSA with a grade of (NM 7), making it “1 of 1” at this level, with none higher. PSA label notes are “1960 Buffalo Bills/Oct. 2, Chargers-24, Bills-10, War Memorial Stadium”. With all game-day souvenirs from the AFL's first season of play being scarce to rare, this top-rated example stands as a great find.
This full ticket is from the collection of a savvy consignor, who has held and protected a good number of 1960s AFL game full tickets since the dates of her original purchases, in the 1960s. A total of six PSA-graded 1960s AFL tickets from this collection are included in this current Huggins and Scott Summer 2024 auction, along with two graded 1950 AHL hockey tickets, and a bundle of 1980s-1990s tickets, which are not graded. More top-grade examples will follow in our coming Winter auction.
