Though he was known as “The Secretary of Defense” for his always reliable play in centerfield, Garry Maddox was also very solid at the plate and finished his career with a .285 lifetime batting average. Outstanding use, and a perfect grade score, mark this Maddox game-used Louisville Slugger bat as a sweet prize. From the labeling period 1977-1979, while Maddox was with the Philadelphia Phillies, this handsome, uncracked stick has the model number M247 and a facsimile Maddox signature on the barrel. Considerable wear is noted including grain swelling, contact marks, baseball stitch impressions, bat rack streaks, cleat indentations, and pine tar residue, which all add up to a PSA/DNA assigned grade of (GU 10). Full LOA from John Taube-PSA/DNA.

  Opening Bid $200.
