A slugger of long ago leaves his calling card with this Jeff Burroughs game-used bat. Turned by Louisville Slugger during the labeling period 1977-1979, this signature model B310 bat shows very heavy use including numerous contact marks, baseball stitch and cleat impressions, a few red bat racks streaks, minor grain swelling, a lower handle crack, and an extensive coating of pine tar. Burroughs' uniform number “7” is written on the knob, and a facsimile of his autograph is burned into the barrel, along with the model number. PSA/DNA has assigned a grade of (GU 9) for this wizened gamer. During the defined labeling period, Burroughs received MVP votes in 1977 and 1978, and was selected for the 1978 NL All-Star squad. Full LOA from John Taube-PSA/DNA. Opening Bid $50.
