Ancient history, respectable quality and considerable value are all in your favor as the winner of these (3) 1948 Cleveland Indians World Series souvenirs.

Let's start with the history. Satchel Paige became the first black pitcher to appear in a World Series when he took the mound in Game 5 for the Tribe. This historic event is commemorated with a PSA-encapsulated ticket stub from the 10/10/48 game, graded (VG-EX 4).

Moving on, we find a now considered taboo, early iteration of former mascot "Chief Wahoo" seen flashing a big postseason grin, on a 1948 "American League Champion - World Series 1948" 3/4-size pennant, which is limited to a (VG-EX) rating by a clipped point, and two folds.

Rounding out this trio of big game souvenirs is a 1948 World Series program also featuring the happy to be there "Chief" (GD+).

Also present are (2) more period souvenirs with a crisp, clean 1946 Rupert Beer Boston Red Sox/Braves schedule folder (EX+), and a 1949 Jimmy Dudley's Official Baseball Score Book (VG-EX) scored for a dozen games with a 1948 World Champion Indians team photo inside the back cover. Opening Bid $250.
