1915 American League Baseball Club of New York, Inc. unused Capital Stock Trust Certificate is a remarkable (NM-MT) example in unused state with minimal signs of age/wear.



2/21/45 Stock transfer cover letter from the estate of Jacob Ruppert, in regards to the transfer of 2606-1/2 shares of the Capital Stock of the American League Baseball Club of New York, Inc., signed by three executives of the Manufacturers Trust Company. Shows moderate wear, and cancellation perforations dated 5/21/45, but remains crisp with bold content.



1/25/45 "Memorandum of Agreement of Sale from Manufacturers Trust Company, as Administrator c.t.a. of the Estate of Jacob Ruppert to Daniel R. Topping, Del E. Webb and L.S. MacPhail Pursuant to Agreement dated January 25, 1945." For "2606-1/2 shares of American League Baseball Club of New York, Inc., Capital Stock, $100. par." Affixed are 6 Series 1944 Federal Tax stamps totaling $156.42. Signed at bottom by the Vice President of the Manufacturers Trust Company, with cancellation perforations dated 5/21/45 at right. This document remains crisp with moderate wear.



1/26/45 Memorandum with the same details as the Federal filing listed above, but in the case for tax payment to the State of New York, for $104.28, with 4 Stock Transfer stamps. This document is also crisp, with moderate wear, and cancellation perforations dated 5/21/45. Opening Bid $250.
