Big game hunters set your sights on this "Babe" Ruth signed business card. With a training regiment built around beer, hot dogs, cigars, and late-night carousing, Ruth hardly seemed human in performing so many tremendous feats on the baseball diamond. Plenty of great players have come and gone, but with respect to Ty Cobb, Ted Williams. Willie Mays, and the rest of the all-time greats, Ruth is the best. Applied to the business card of Elizabeth, NJ police commissioner Floyd J. Donohue, Ruth's fountain pen autograph remains a pleasing ("8") strength example, more than eight decades after the signing. The business card is stapled to a City of Elizabeth Police Department courtesy card, which is printed with the expiration date 2/1/37. If you're reading this, you are likely well aware of Ruth's importance in the collectibles market, so take advantage of this golden opportunity to scratch a great big name off your want list. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.

A typo on the LOA shows the signature count as 17, however the business card is signed by Ruth only. The courtesy cards is signed by two Elizabeth Police Department high ranking officials.

Opening Bid $500.
