Picture yourself as the owner of this 1920s Type I baseball ceremony photograph, and make it happen. The focus of this antique photo is baseball's most iconic star "Babe" Ruth, who is seen holding flowers in his left hand, while shaking hands with a casually attired man, who is reported to be a WWI veteran. To the left of Ruth, are members of a military band, and gathered on the right, are men in suits. Several of the suited men are either wearing or holding straw "boaters", which were all the rage during "The Roaring '20s". Scenes such as this typically took place before big games, such as opening day, or at the World Series. Though uncredited, this photo was obviously taken by a professional photographer, and a lengthy search for its origin suggests this shot may be rare. PSA/DNA has encapsulated this cordial photograph with an Authentic designation, and the label reads "Original Photograph Babe Ruth, Type I Authentic c.1920s".
