Pink Shirt Woman Set - You'll be bowled over by the astonishing quality of this 1941 Rittgers bowling figure set of (2). Prime examples of Lafayette Laso Rittgers humorous 1940s renderings, these comical figures are intended for display with the man behind the woman, taking a good sock on the jaw from her bowling ball, not the preferred method of getting a guy to fall for you ladies. This top shelf pair show very little in the way of wear. The man has very minor flecks of paint loss on the front of his right shoe and the woman has light wear on the underside of her right shoe. Though they make a rather poor bowling team, they otherwise present magnificently with a near factory fresh appearance. 1941 L.L. Rittgers dated copyrights are located on the back of the man's bowling ball and across the backs of the woman's shoes.

Red Shirt Woman Set - Perhaps this is what rock star Sting had in mind, when he sang "don't stand so close to me". In the case of this 1941 Rittgers bowling figure set of (2), the poor male of the species really takes it on the chin hard, with a jarring bowling ball knock from his determined mate. The female bowler has a few specks/chips of paint loss, the most prominent of which are on her left shoe. She also has a couple hairline cracks behind her left knee, which appear to be factory flaws rather than wear. Though knocked silly, the male bowler really makes a strong impression, with just two pinpoint flecks of paint loss on the back of his bowling ball and moderate wear on the underside of his shoes. Both figures have 1941 L.L. Rittgers dated copyrights at bottom rear and together they make a handsome and dynamic presentation.

Wrestling Set - Let's get ready to rumble, with this 1941 copyright dated Rittgers wrestling figure set of (3). These amusing grapplers are all better examples with just minor wear. The hulking monster of the group has some light wear under the shoes and there is a concentrated area of residue on the torso, where it appears chest hair detail has worn away. His tied up in knots opponent has a small area of paint thinning on the underside, and there is still a good degree of hair detail on his head. Blessed with a bulging potbelly, the appalled referee has one small fleck of white on his shirt and while the hair detail on the back of his head remains at a decent level, there is a small patch that is worn down to the white, and he also has a Suttle and Rittgers factory sticker under his right shoe.
