“Hey Baltimore, you have a hockey team!” Such was the cry on 1980s local radio ads in a city recently stripped of its football team. In the franchise’s latter run as an American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, these (2) sweaters were worn by: Wade Bartley: 1990-91 – 1991-92 home sweater; and Duane Derksen: 1992-93 road sweater (autographed). Both mesh pullover garments feature twill identifiers and proper “Maska” tagging. More on our website.

Wade Bartley 1990-91 – 1991-92 Baltimore Skipjacks Game-Worn Home Sweater: a white mesh pullover garment with three-quarter length sleeves and red and blue striped accents. A nautically themed “JACKS” logo is sewn to the front center in blue-white-and-red twill with embroidered highlights, white the chest and sleeves are lined with alternating red and blue five-point stars (as found on the sweaters of the Washington Capitals parent club). In blue-on-red twill, “8” is sewn to the back and sleeves, while “BARTLEY” is sewn to a nameplate atop the back number in like fashion. Red stretch ribbed knit lines the V-neck collar, whose interior is home to a “Maska” label. All original and unaltered, the ice apparel shows nice game use with board marks and faint blood stains. The original fight strap remains within the rear tail.
