Marvel Comics went through a tremendous expansion in 1968. Super-heroes who began starring in their own solo titles that year are Iron Man, Sub-Mariner, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Captain Marvel, Nick Fury, and Captain America. The latter of these top-tier characters made an important appearance with this 4/68 Marvel Captain America #100 issue. During the 1960s, Cap had been space sharing with Iron Man in the pages of Tales to Astonish. This prized key issue comic picks up where Tales of Suspense #99 left off, continuing the numbering of the defunct title, while Iron Man's new solo title began with issue #1. Offered new to the market after decades of seclusion in the hands of the original owner, this comic is freshly graded (6.0, Off-White to White Pages) by leading certification service CGC. The grading label notes are "Stan Lee story, Jack Kirby and Syd Shores cover and art. 1st issue. Black Panther appearance. Story and numbering continued from Tales of Suspense #99."

Opening Bid $150.
