It was late in the year 1967, and the Merry Marvel Marching Society was in full stride when a Philadelphia lad filed a complaint over his subscription Marvel comic books being lost in the mail. Good old Stan Lee made it up to the eager youth by sending signed copies of a dozen different issues. One of these Lee-signed comics turns up here with this 1/68 Capt. Savage and His Leatherneck Raiders #1 issue. This inaugural edition comic book is fairly well-preserved in (FN-) condition. Lee has signed on the bottom border of the first page, and his bold black ink, fiber-tip marker autograph rates as a pleasing (“9”) strength example.
