Fielding a power-packed lineup, and a solid pitching staff, the Cincinnati Reds were the cream of the 1961 NL crop. They were however, no match for the mighty 1961 New York Yankees, who are widely considered one of the greatest teams of all time. When these teams met in the 1961 World Series, the Yankees made fairly short work of the Reds, winning the Series in 5 games. Revisit the Yankees' acclaimed triumph, with these (2) 1961 World Series press pins. Both of these well-preserved pins were crafted by Balfour, and both present handsomely with a red, white, and blue color scheme. The Yankees pin (EX-MT+) is round, with a post and clasp back; and the Reds pin (NM) is an oval, with a pin back. Come for the all-important Yankees pin, but leave very satisfied with the Reds pin as well.
