Examine a few memorable moments in Brooklyn Dodgers history, with this group of (3) 1950s Type I news service photographs. Credited to highly respected news services, these glossy black and white photos are handsome examples, in nicely preserved state. (1) Photo captured a scene of an injury to revered Dodgers catcher Roy Campanella, and (2) depict World Series action, including a joyful celebration of a home run blast by "Duke" Snider. All are accompanied by printed blurbs dated between 1951-1953, and all technically rate as (EX) due to one very small crease each, located on either a corner or edge, though otherwise they all present a good bit better.

Featured are:

9/17/51 International News Photo measuring 7x9 with printed blurb attached. Pictured is Roy Campanella, who is surrounded by his Dodgers teammates and Chicago Cubs players, as he is being carried off the field after being hit in the head by a "Turk" Lown pitch, at Wrigley Field.

10/6/52 Sport magazine 8x10 photo with detached printed blurb, detailing "Duke" Snider's home run in the 6th inning of 1952 World Series Game 6, at Ebbets Field. Snider is seen being congratulated by Andy Pafko,, "Pee Wee" Reese, Dick Williams, Joe Black, Carl Furillo, and Billy Herman. Snider also belted another homer in the 8th, to supply all of the Dodgers offense, in a 3-2 loss to the Yankees.
