Team-issued by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1971, this 7x9 photo (EX-MT) is a portrait of Clemente (d.1972), in what was then a new uniform type for the Bucs. The dearly departed rightfielder has signed boldly at lower left, and his blue ballpoint pen signature rates as ("8") in potency. Well-suited for framing, this color edition photo is cited as much scarcer than its black and white counterpart, and this nicely preserved example stands as a must for advanced autograph collectors.
