A select few other schools have fared better than ND over the many seasons of college football play, but none enjoys such a devoted and far spread fan base. Starting with a 1927 example from the days of legend, when Knute Rockne was head coach, this collection winds through to 1991, with at least one program from each decade in between. Condition is generally favorable, ranging 70% Ex to Nm-Mt, 30% Pr to Vg-Ex. As can be expected, the oldest editions fall in the lesser end of the described range, while the more recent display the best quality. Plenty of sizzle comes from a dozen bowl game programs, and several regular season programs with great historic value.
