Thanks to the 1988 hit film "Bull Durham", the Durham Bulls gained national recognition. Ten years later, the Bulls moved up to the top level of minor league play, and have remained a AAA squad since 1998. From the Bulls invigorating final years as a Class A squad, comes this early 1990s game-worn jersey. A mostly faded Wilson factory label inside the collar, identifies the size as "46". Patches include a number "7" on the back, and Bulls team logo with snorting mascot Wool E. Bull on the left breast. Considerable signs of authentic use/wear include heavy sweat staining inside the collar, moderate color fading of the accent stripes on the sleeves, a small streak of black on the left front tail. and light fraying on the perimeter of the number patch. The wear pattern on the back indicates that 7 is not the original number, and obviously more than one player wore this jersey. Some of the future big leaguers who played for the Bulls in the early '90s, are Chipper Jones, Javy Lopez, and Tony Tarasco.
