The 61st playing of the MLB All-Star Game is recalled, with this multi-signed bat. A Rawlings Adirondack Pro Ring model, this nicely preserved bat is decorated with (24) autographs, and the legend “1990 All-Star Game, Wrigley Field, Chicago, Illinois”, which is burned into the barrel, next to the 1990 World Series logo. Shut-down pitching, and a two-run double from the game’s MVP Julio Franco, earned the AL squad a 2-0 victory. Though Franco is not counted among the autographs, (6) Hall of Famers are, along with the top sluggers of the day.
