Reliable slugger Gil Hodges rounded the bases 370 times after belting homers. One of his frequent diamond roundtrips comes into view, with this c.1951-1953 Type I photo taken by official Brooklyn Dodgers photographer Barney Stein. Hodges is pictured shaking hands with coach "Cookie" Lavagetto, as he rounds third, on his way home. Reporting in (Gd) condition, this nicely framed photo is stamped on the back with Stein's credit. Also located on the back, is the written notation "For Gil Hodges". Lavagetto's presence indicates this shot was taken between 1951 and 1953, when he served as a coach for the Dodgers.
