In the long history of baseball, there have been just 24 perfect games pitched. One of the two dozen men to achieve this remarkable feat is spotlighted, with these (2) Charles Robertson signed and anniversary dated index cards. Pitching for the Chicago White Sox on 4/30/1922, in just his 4th career start, Robertson blanked the formidable Detroit Tigers stacked lineup, which included two of the greatest contact hitters of all-time, in Ty Cobb and Harry Heilmann. The first of these autographs is an 8-9 strength example, accompanied by the date inscription "April 30, 1966". Presenting a 9-10 degree of potency, the second autograph is date inscribed "April 30, 1972", and includes a lengthy note that reads "Ft. Worth Texas 50th Anniv. perfect ball game Detroit Mich. April 30, 1922 Chicago White Sox 2, Detroit Tigers - 0".
