Fourteen years after that famous night in Miami, Ali had another meeting of the minds—albeit a little-known one—at his Miami Beach training center. Mayor Len Haber bestowed Ali with a ceremonial key to the city and an accompanying card, as seen in these period 8x10 photos within 11x14 mattes. Haber's black-ink "9-10" inscriptions along the matte tops read, "The Key to the City of Miami Beach and my very best wishes / Mayor Len Haber 2/1/78" and "For the Champ, A Courtesy Card from the city of Miami Beach / Mayor Len Haber 2/1/78."
