Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Sid Gillman got to play out his many great offensive innovations in a decade long tenure with the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers during the 1960s. Debuting in 1960 as the Los Angeles Chargers, the team relocated to San Diego after just one season in LA. A standout in the early phase of the American Football League's existence, the Chargers won division titles in five of the first six AFL seasons from 1960-1965, with 1962 being the lone exception to the run. The team's highpoint came with the 1963 AFL Championship, which remains the franchise's only league championship to date. Enjoy a look back at the Chargers AFL days, with this incredible 1963-1969 collection of (52) all different programs, including three complete regular season home game runs and two near runs. Condition hawks will be greatly pleased by the overall outstanding quality of this impressive bundle, which rates as average (EX to NM+) with the majority at the higher end of this range.
